This company makes chocolate bars and cacao nibs from its own raw materials (cacao, coffee and honey), and manages a broad process: batch production, raw material records, order costing, stock and supply control, sales, suppliers and customer invoicing.
That entire flow was managed in spreadsheets that were not connected to each other. As the volume of data grew, the work became heavier and sometimes produced incorrect information. My role was the UX/UI design of an ERP that brings the whole process together in a single system.
The challenge
The challenge was to bring a scattered flow (raw materials, costing, stock, sales, suppliers and invoicing) into a single system, with a mobile-friendly version so plant operators can record the progress of each batch from their phone.
At the same time, the manager needed to follow that progress from their own dashboard: knowing whether a batch was delayed or whether raw material had been lost.

Batch Production
Stock & Suppliers
Total invoiced per month and per client, invoicing comparison, units sold and free samples delivered, with filters by client and by period.
A step-by-step process to quote an order (chocolate bars, nibs or other products), always editable, without having to redo the calculation from scratch each time.
Plant operators record the progress of each batch from their phone, and the manager sees the progress, whether a batch was delayed or whether raw material was lost.
Raw material supply control and a supplier database with their prices and the payment method agreed with each one.
Unified Process
The company’s entire flow (raw materials, costing, production, sales and invoicing) now lives in one place, without depending on separate spreadsheets.
Faster Quoting
Quoting an order is much faster, and the data updates automatically, without having to edit thousands of rows by hand.
Production Control
The manager follows the progress of each batch in real time and knows whether any batch was delayed or raw material was lost during production.
Custom Dashboard
A quick view of the business: invoicing by client and by month, units sold, free samples delivered and best-selling products.
